Points on a compass - for directions

Hello everybody,

For those of you learning English, maybe it is a good idea to learn the main points on a compass:

North (N) North-West (NW) North-East (NE)

South (S)  South-West (SW) South-East (SE)

East (E)

West (W)

You might notice the smaller letters

NNW = North North West

WNW = West North West

NNE = North North West

ENE = East North East

WSW= West South West

SSW= South South West

SSE = South South East

ESE = East South East
